Gwinnett Tech, AARP to offer free tax help

Gwinnett Technical College has again partnered with the AARP Foundation to offer free tax assistance and preparation for community members.

Volunteers with AARP Tax-Aide will be on campus from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday’s to Thursday’s and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday’s through April 17th. The event will take place in Building 700 on the second floor. A sign-up sheet will be available at 8 a.m. each day, and it’s usually full by 1 p.m.

Those seeking help should bring all tax forms, a copy of last year’s return, a photo ID and Social Security cards for everyone who will be listed on the return. A blank check will also be required for those who want automatic deposit or withdrawal.
